Doha: Assistant Foreign Minister H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met yesterday with Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships of the French Republic H E Chrysoula Zacharopoulou on the sidelines of the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), held in Doha.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation on development and humanitarian projects in Africa and the Middle East, in addition to ways of cooperation to deliver humanitarian aid to the quake-affected people in Turkey and Syria.
Al Khater met Director General for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands H E Kitty van der Heijden. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, Gaza, Yemen and Ukraine.
She also met with Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Republic of Somalia H E Khadija Mohamed Almakhzoumi; CEO of the World Humanitarian Forum H E Feraye Ozfescioglu; the State Secretary to Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Sweden H E Diana Janse; Minister of State for Development and Africa in the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office H E Andrew Mitchell.
