Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited on Wednesday morning the building of support disciplines (air control and surveillance) at Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College at Al Udeid Air Base.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the modern equipment and devices at the Air Traffic Control Training Center, and the services provided by the center to the various air forces and crews.
Also, the Amir listened to a briefing on the work mechanism and associated technologies, flight simulation systems, and specialized theoretical and practical training equipment.
Amir was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces HE Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Commander of Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College HE Major General (Pilot) Salem Abdullah Al Dosari, a number of Their Excellencies ministers, and senior officers of the Armed Forces.
