Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the Republic of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, held a session of official talks at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani attended the session. A number of their Excellencies ministers were also present. Talks focused on relations between the two countries and means of boosting and developing them on all fronts in addition to discussing a set of issues of common concern. The President of Niger handed the Emir the Order of Merit, the highest honour in the Republic of Niger.
