Doha: The Shura Council participated in a parliamentary symposium entitled “Creating a safe cyberspace for democracy”, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union in cooperation with the United Nations Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes.
The Shura Council was represented in the symposium, which was held via visual communication technology by H E Dr. Mohammed bin Butti Al Abdullah, member of the Council.
