Hong Kong: Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks rose Tuesday, following an Asian rally driven by strong corporate earnings and a positive global growth outlook.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.39 percent, or 397.54 points, to 28,994.34.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.75 percent, or 25.40 points, to 3,413.57, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.67 percent, or 13.42 points, to 2,012.72.
