Beach at Bin Ghanam Island in Al Khor after a clean-up drive.
Al Mamoura Park is to open today after renovation, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
The renovation is part of a massive plan of the Ministry’s Public Parks Management Department to increase parks, picnic places and greeneries across the country.
The move aims at protecting the environment and providing healthy places for people. Meanwhile, the Beaches and Islands Section of General Celanese Department at the Ministry has cleaned Bin Ghanam Island beach at Al Khor with the help of 75 employees of a company.
