Under instructions of the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA ) has prepared separate offices and waiting rooms for visitors seeking housing and social affairs services. The ministry has prepared at the first floor of its headquarters special offices to receive citizens who seek social security and housing services provided by the ministry.
The Prime Minister visited on Sunday the Department of Housing at the Ministry to see the progress of work and services offered by the department. During the visit, he met several visitors.
The section includes 14 counters and three offices for studying the cases of the applicants and some of these counters are allocated for women only. There is also separate place for the disabled.
The Ministry said on its Twitter account that the section will only serve citizens who are beneficiaries of social security and housing services.
Beneficiaries of the social security services are required to update their status every year and provide with endorsement to the Department of Social Security. The department has urged beneficiaries to do so every year by sending them a SMS.
