Luxury ladies and men’s timepieces blend Swiss watchmaking traditions with Mouawad’s distinct style. Mouawad, the luxury jewellery and timepiece company, launched its first line of luxury watches to carry the Mouawad signature in Qatar. The Mouawad Swiss Watch Line debuts with a collection of men’s chronographs — the Grande Ellipse — and, a collection of ladies Swiss quartz watches — La Griffe.
The launch was held at the Mouawad Lagoona Mall Boutique in Doha. In attendance was Pascal Mouawad, Co-Guardian of the retail division.
The Mouawad Grande Ellipse collection includes 12 models, ranging from the more formal diamond-studded or plain rose gold Royales to the bi-colour rose gold and stainless steel Sport Villes, and the bi-colour rose gold and titanium Sport models.
Named for its distinctive motif, La Griffe, features four prongs clasping the bezels — each set with four diamonds or coloured gemstones according to the model.
La Griffe timepieces are available in two distinct cases: Stainless steel and rose gold and feature exquisite décors such as colourful mother-of-pearl dials, Super-Luminova indices, polished dome-shaped hands and Mouawad engraved case-back and buckle.
The new Mouawad watch collection is available with prices ranging from $8,900 to $49,000 for the Grand Ellipse collection and Sport Ville Collection and from $3,900 to $23,750 for La Griffe collection.
