Birla Public School (BPS) celebrated Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday at its three campuses in Doha.
A mime put up by students brought home the lesson that detractors may take away from the man his material possessions but the soul and the spirit will continue to infuse the masses of India with the spirit of truth and non-violence in the years to come.
DMIS students put up a special assembly to commemorate the occasion. Students staged a short skit based on the philosophy of Gandhi’s “Three wise monkeys”.

Ideal Indian School (IIS) students presented tableaus on Quit India Movement, South Africa Train Incident, Boycott Movement and Round Table Conference, highlighting Gandhi’s role.
MES Indian School unveiled a sculpture of Gandhi made by Santhosh K, a teacher from Department of Fine Arts.
To mark the occasion DPS-MIS tiny tots of the nursery section conducted a colourful assembly.
