DOHA: Katara art studio of the cultural village foundation-Katara launched QatArt and craft workshops, that include paper quilling art, flip book animation, cookies decoration with royal icing, water colour floral painting and paper mache cat money bank. The workshop held on Friday with the participation of talented people of age seven and above. Shuara Iqbal Hussain, paper quilling trainer said that participants learnt basic paper quilling techniques and applied it in making sturdy and water resistant paper jewellery.
Starting from September 10, Katara Art Studios will organise the end of week workshop where participants of 10 years old and above, can hone their skills on painting on September 10, Batik basic and advance on September 12, Ebru and marbling art for the basic and advanced levels on September 17.
