DOHA: The Health Monitoring Section at Doha Municipality has shut down five food outlets for selling food unfit for human consumption.
The closure varied between three and 15 days, and includes four restaurants and a fruits centre in Al Mirqab, Al Maamoura, Frij Bin Mahnoud and Al Riffa.
Meanwhile, Al Khor-Al Dhakira Municipality conducted 33 inspection raids on women’s salons and registered several violations.
The inspection campaign will continue during Ramadan to crack down on violations.
