Italian students and faculty at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently met with Pasquale Salzano, the Ambassador of Italy to the State of Qatar.
The HBKU delegation received an invitation from the Ambassador to discuss the university’s programs, current research being conducted, and future academic cooperation between Italy and Qatar.
The HBKU delegation was led by Dr Roberto Di Pietro from the College of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Dr Chiara Chiellini, Research Development Specialist, who discussed ongoing research on cybersecurity.
Five of the eight students comprising the delegation are pursuing PhDs in Computer Science and Engineering, and Sustainable Energy at HBKU.
CSE is a world-class multidisciplinary college that aims to make a significant impact in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.
