Indian Cultural Center, Doha held the ICC-Faber Castell Art Competition – Expressions 2013, at Bhavan’s Public School (Al Wakra Campus) recently in coordination with other Indian schools and the Indian community. This year’s event attracted nearly 900 entries in colouring, drawing, painting, pencil sketching and collage.
The prize distribution was done in Ashoka Hall. The formal function was attended by Suman Sharma, CCO, ICC, Hassan Chougule, ICC Advisory Council Member, Karim Abdulla, ICBF President, and Hari from Faber Castell. Tarun Basu, President, ICC and other ICC managing committee members welcomed the guests.
ICC has introduced a trophy for the school sending the maximum number of entries to the competition. The winner for 2013 was DPS MIS.The Peninsula
