Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday that its armed forces detected and intercepted 17 hostile drones in the past 24 hours, with no casualties or material damage reported.
Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the ministry's official spokesperson, stated during a media briefing on current developments that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team of the Land Forces Engineering Corps responded to 15 reports in the past 24 hours, in accordance with established procedures.
He emphasized that the armed forces continue to perform their duties and responsibilities with efficiency and vigilance, maintaining constant readiness and preparedness to enhance national security and safeguard the well-being of citizens and residents.
For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior reported that its Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams dealt with 59 reports resulting from falling shrapnel related to defensive interception operations during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of reports since the beginning of the Iranian aggression against the country to 758.
