Assistant of President of Sudan and President of the Ruling Party, Ibrahim Mahmoud, has praised the efforts made by the Qatari leadership in the issues of the Islamic nation and its continued support for Sudan to meet its human, political, social and economic needs.
The Sudanese Presidential Assistant stressed that the State of Qatar supports all efforts towards security, economic and political stability in the region.
He said Qatar has translated efforts to achieve peace in Darfur on the ground and supported all the reconstruction and development programs as well as provided all basic services, adding that Qatar led Darfur peace efforts by all the attention, determination and patience.
Moreover, he stressed that those efforts received trust and appreciation and got global and regional tribute, pointing out that Qatar brought security and stability in Darfur and it is now free of the insurgency.
