Minister of Public Health H E Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari issued yesterday a decision appointing Dr Aisha Abdullah Al Ali as Acting Director of Healthcare Facilities Licensing and Accreditation Department at the Ministry of Health.
The Minister issued a decision forming an advisory committee on healthcare facilities licensing and accreditation department with membership of senior officials and specialists in planning, policy and quality from the health sector.
The committee specialises in providing advice to the director of the department, approves the department's rules and regulations, grants approvals to requests for establishing new hospitals, and adopts standards.
