Doha: As part of the North Road Corridor Enhancement Project, the Public Works Authority, Ashghal opened Umm Salal Mohammed Interchange to traffic yesterday morning.
The new intersection, installed by Ashghal, serves as a key access point linking the neighbouring local areas, located east and west of Al Shamal Road.
Umm Salal Mohammed Interchange is composed of two separate levels, including a dual main bridge with two lanes in each direction and an additional lane for turning towards the ramps, and two light signals.
The junction also features four on-and-off ramps.
