Spanish farmers protest against Russia’s ban on vegetables, meat, fish, milk and dairy imports from the European Union in central Madrid yesterday. Farmers gave away 10,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables to protest against what they say is the severe impact that the ban has caused their business.
