Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced the launch of a new digital platform under its Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program, aimed at showcasing investment opportunities and projects available to the private sector.

The initiative is a strategic step towards strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors, in line with Qatar’s national development goals.

Developed by the Ministry’s Business Development Department, the platform serves as a central digital database that consolidates investment opportunities across various sectors.

It is designed to promote and facilitate private sector access to PPP projects, providing investors with a streamlined and accessible destination for exploring business prospects in Qatar.

According to the Ministry, the objective of the initiative is to support the private sector in identifying and participating in viable investment projects that contribute to the nation’s socio-economic growth.

By serving as a hub for information and opportunities, the platform ensures that private entities have direct visibility into projects aligned with the government’s strategic priorities.

The significance of public-private partnerships in national development was highlighted on the ministry’s social media platforms.

MoCI emphasised that partnerships between government institutions and the private sector play a key role in realising Qatar’s long-term vision.

Such collaborations are essential for promoting sustainable development, fostering innovation, and building a diverse, collaborative, and productive economy.

Through the integration of public and private efforts, the platform aims to create a favourable environment for investment while advancing critical national objectives. These include infrastructure development, technological advancement, service delivery, and capacity-building across industries.

In a statement, the Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the private sector and fostering an enabling environment that empowers businesses to contribute meaningfully to national development.

It stressed that the new platform would help achieve economic and developmental goals by enhancing transparency, improving access to investment opportunities, and encouraging innovation in project implementation.

The digital platform is now live and accessible to investors and interested parties.

The Ministry has encouraged all stakeholders in the private sector to explore the site and take advantage of the resources and project listings available. Access to the platform is facilitated through a QR code provided in the official communication.

This initiative aligns with Qatar’s strategic 2030 vision and reflects the government’s broader efforts to accelerate digital transformation, improve regulatory frameworks, and expand public-private collaboration as a cornerstone of national growth.
