Ministry reminds work site rules

DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment has warned companies, contractors and engineering consultancies who do not comply with ministerial decrees on construction works in terms of work sites, fencing requirements and sidewalks.
The ministry has asked them to meet the standards to avoid any legal procedures, Al Sharq reports.
The ministerial decision No. 120 concerning signs at work sites says contractors must put a board at the entry of sites which should state the names of the owner and street, date and number of building permit and other information.  The Ministerial Decision No. 121 obliges contractors to put fence at the site according to specifications.
