Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, has urged all motorists to strictly adhere to traffic laws and regulations, stressing that compliance with road markings is a key factor in improving road safety and protecting all road users.
In a public awareness message shared on its social media platforms, the Ministry highlighted that following lane markings and other road surface lines helps ensure smoother traffic flow, reduces the risk of accidents, and promotes safer driving practices.
The campaign emphasised that respecting road markings is a responsible driving behavior that contributes to an orderly traffic environment and enhances the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and other road users.
The Ministry concluded its message by encouraging drivers to remain committed to traffic rules at all times, under the slogan: “Your safety is our priority.”
