Ministry: Health sector not affected by siege

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) yesterday assured that all services provided by the health sector will not be affected by the siege imposed on the country. The Ministry has the potential to sustain health services and deliver them at the same quality, Hamad Jassim Al Hamar, the Director of the Public Relations and communications at the MoPH said in a statement.
“The State of Qatar, under the wise leadership of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, considers the wellbeing of the people as a top priority and provides all necessary resources to deliver advanced health services in accordance with the best international standards,” he said.
“The Ministry always takes precautions to provide all medical supplies, medicines and required necessities to provide a high quality health services under different conditions,” he added.
MoPH will continue to implement all health projects that aim to maintain sustainable development of health services and increase the potential and capabilities of the health sector.
