Doha: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) (a Qatari public shareholding company) announced yesterday a net profit of QR173.153m for Q1 of 2023, a 611 percent surge compared to the same period the previous year when the net profit was QR24.344m.
Earnings Per Share (EPS) amounted to QR0.038 in Q1 of 2023 versus QR0.001 for the same period of the previous year, according to a statement issued by the company on the Qatar Stock Exchange website.
In the same context, Investment Holding Company (a Qatari public shareholding company) saw a 10.19 percent increase in its net profit in Q1 of 2023, to reach QR101.213 million, compared to QR91.846m in the same period last year.
A statement by the company on the QSE website showed a decline in EPS to QR0.030 in the Q1 of 2023, compared to QR 0.036 Qatari for the same period of the previous year.
