DOHA: It drizzled yesterday in parts of the country, with the weather bureau forecasting scattered rains with thunder and high winds at times in some areas today.
The warning for inshore weather said rains with thunder and strong winds can be expected today.
The weather will be misty first and then partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of scattered rains associated at times with thunder, said the bureau.
There was no warning for offshore for today but the weather will be hazy to misty initially and partly cloudy to cloudy later, with chances of scattered rains.
The wind direction will be northwesterly to northeasterly and speed between five and 15 knots.
During rains and thunder the wind will move at speeds of up to 25 knots in some areas.
Day temperatures will vary between 24 and 28 degrees C, while at night the mercury will drop to between 16 and 20 degrees.
In Doha, the day temperature forecast is 27 degrees and nightly temperature 20 degrees, the bureau said.The Peninsula
