Doha: Sharaka Holdings yesterday announced the opening of their Design Lounge showroom which will help the customers to experience the elegance and luxury of the world’s most fabulous furnishings.
Design Lounge will feature a gallery held for Christopher Guy (GC) and Giorgetti.
Christopher Guy, award winning, internationally renowned furniture designer, and CEO of the luxury furnishings brand, Christopher Guy (CG) will be showcasing his latest creations from the brand’s Mademoiselle Collection at the Design Lounge gallery. The Mademoiselle collection is less about straight lines and more about curves. It’s not about classic elegance; it presents elegance with an edge.
Guy stressed on the fact CG give too much attention to details, noting that by doing so, they have set themselves apart from the other design houses. Christopher Guy’s next venture will be collaborating with Harrods. They will design and refurbish the 100 year old Harrods flagship Georgian restaurant with CG furnishings. The restaurant will re-open in July.
Giorgetti SpA, well established, Meda based furniture brand will be launching their latest creations from their brand new collection at the Design Lounge gallery as well.
Designer furniture, like art and haute couture is rapidly evolving and in that context, Giorgetti SpA stands out for having always created furniture with unique designs and an immediately identifiable style.
This collection, according to Roberta Giorgetti, Co-owner of Giorgetti SpA, marks yet another aesthetical evolution for Giorgetti. The collection still carries the brand’s original print; however a contemporary aesthetic has been injected into the collection.
Giorgetti highlighted the importance of evolution, stressing on the fact that they’re constantly in search of new designers and visions, so they could always present a fresh and innovative point of view.
