Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi confirmed that the Sultanate of Oman hosted serious talks between Iran and the United States as part of its mediation efforts.
The Omani Foreign Minister stated that the talks hosted by Muscat on Friday contributed to clarifying the positions and approaches of both sides and identifying several areas that could serve as a basis for potential progress.
Al Busaidi added that these talks are expected to resume in due course, and their outcomes will be presented for consideration and study in both Tehran and Washington.
