Amman: A Royal Jordanian Air Force F-16 went down today shortly after take-off during a training mission, an official military source stated.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the fighter jet crashed due to a "technical failure", killing the pilot who was identified as fighter pilot Maj. Ayed Ahmad al-De'ajah.
