DOHA: More than 40 top retail staff performers of Vodafone Qatar have been recognised at a ceremony at Katara in the presence of Vodafone CEO Kyle Whitehill and Customer Operations Director Asim Mirza, with staff representing the company’s Leadership Team.
“IMTIAZ” or “Excellence” has been running at the company since 2013.
“The biennial event includes a two-phase competition during which all Vodafone sales and retail stores staff are evaluated based on criteria that meet the company’s commercial targets and the Vodafone way of doing business at the essence of which lies customer obsession, speed, trust and simplicity.
The IMTIAZ criteria include customer experience, revenue and efficiency. The event was marked with shows and entertainment where employees celebrated amid cheer, excitement and surprises.
Sathya Prasad, Head, Consumer Sales and Services, said: “We’re happy to be celebrating this important milestone with our retail colleagues and we’d like to congratulate not only the top performers but also every person in this business unit for their outstanding and relentless efforts to ensure Vodafone’s success and exceed expectations of our customers. We’ve crafted the IMTIAZ programme in line with our commitment to honour our people who are a key pillar that drives us forward. Vodafone’s employees are also our ambassadors and recognising and awarding them is our priority.” The IMTIAZ competition continues until March 2016 when the Phase 2 winners will be announced.
