Rains bring relief, likely to continue today

Vehicles ply on a waterlogged road in a remote area after scattered rains hit Labseer, Ber Al Suaile, Al Rafeeq, Khwazan, Rawdat Al Rashid and Al Jamilea. The weather is likely to be windy today as the Meteorology Department has forecast scattered rains. 


DOHA: Parts of Qatar witnessed scattered rains yesterday bringing much needed relief to the people from scorching heat. 
Some areas of Labseer, Ber Al Suaile, Al Rafeeq, Khwazan, Rawdat Al Rashid and Al Jamilea received scattered rains leading to water logging on some roads. 
Enjoying the unexpected rains, many residents shared photos of rains on social networking websites.
The weather is likely to be windy today with likelihood of rains as the Qatar Meteorology Department has forecast strong winds and chances scattered rains. 
The temperature in Qatar is likely to be in the range of 28 to 42 degree Celsius while in Doha mercury will be in 35 to 39 degree Celsius.
