Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has urged motorists to respect designated parking regulations and refrain from using parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities, stressing that such behaviour reflects civic responsibility.
In an awareness message shared through its social media platforms, the ministry said that complying with parking rules and avoiding the misuse of accessible parking spaces demonstrates adherence to traffic regulations and contributes to protecting the rights of people with disabilities within the community.
The campaign highlighted that accessible parking spaces are reserved to ensure convenient and safe access for individuals with disabilities and should only be used by those legally entitled to them.
