Vodafone Qatar announced it has extended the deadline for its literary competition, “With Your Pen Express Your Love for Qatar”. The new deadline is now Saturday, February 8. Held under the auspices of H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, the Minister of Culture and Heritage, the competition was launched at the 24th Doha International Book Fair.
Mohammed Al Yami, Director of External Affairs at Vodafone Qatar said: “As a proudly Qatari company, Vodafone designed these competitions to help preserve the Arabic language, encourage creative writing, and most importantly, to celebrate the beauty of the written Arabic word and we’re confident that some of the literary work generated out of these competitions will certainly bring out some of the best talents in the country.”
