BPS students visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi

Birla Public School (BPS) organised an educational trip to Dubai recently for its ninth and 10th grade students. They were accompanied by teachers Janhavi Jitendra Nair, Nalini  Shukla, Thomas John and Vijayan.
It was the first time students of the school went on an excursion to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
 It was a four-day tour which began with a dhow cruise in the evening the students reached Dubai. 
The second day began with a half-day tour of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. 
There students  had a life-time experience of sitting in the world’s fastest rollercoaster which moves at a speed of 284kmph. 
In Abu Dhabi, students also saw the Grand Mosque, which is one of the biggest in the world.
In the evening, they visited the Jumeirah beach and clicked pictures in the backdrop of the famous Hotel Burj Al Arab.
On the third day, students were taken for shopping to Meena Bazar in Bur Dubai.
In the evening, they visited the world’s tallest building the ‘Burj Al Khalifa’. 
There, they had a bird’s view of the dubai city from the 125th floor. They also visited the famous Sharjah museum Also in the evening.
The final day began with a tour of Dubai, during which students were taken to Palm Jumeirah — the world’s first man-made island in the shape of a palm. Three such tours will be organised in the coming months. The Peninsula
