DOHA: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempt to assassinate Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan through an attack on its embassy in the capital, Kabul. In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance in rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. The ministry stressed the importance of providing full protection for diplomatic missions and their staff in the application of the basic principles of international agreements and taking into account the diplomatic norms that all countries adhere to.
