Under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, the General Authority for Minors Affairs honoured outstanding students under its auspices at a ceremony held at the Qatar National Convention Center.
The Authority annually honours outstanding students in order to motivate them for further success. This year, 539 honorees have achieved excellent results during the 2015-2016 school year.
In a speech during the ceremony, the Chairman of the General Authority for Minors Affairs Saad Nahar Al Nuaimi commended the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior in honouring outstanding students, stressing that this reflects the attention of the State of Qatar and care for all segments of society by developing their abilities in order to be actors in advancing the development of the country and comes in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 which is based on four key pillars, including human and social development, aims at transforming Qatar into an advanced country.
