Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad AlThani met at Emiri Diwan yesterday with Japan's Ambassador Shingo Tsuda, who called on the Emir to greet him on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar.
The Emir presented the outgoing Ambassador with the Sash of Merit in recognition of his role in enhancing ties between Qatar and his country, wishing him every success in his future assignments and for the bilateral relations further progress and prosperity.
The Japanese Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Emir and officials in the State for the cooperation he received which contributed to the success of his mission.
The Emir also met with Ambassador of the Republic of Benin Hassan Musa Limamao, who called on the Emir to greet him on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar. The Emir wished the Benin envoy every success in his future assignments and for the bilateral relations further progress and prosperity.
