Doha: The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), an initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, concluded its two-week entrepreneurship camp for children aged 8-14 years.
The Entrepreneurship Summer Camp was held in collaboration with the children’s library, ‘Maktaba’ on its premises. The first week targeted boys and the second week was dedicated to girls. The participants in the summer camp were engaged in activities and courses, which were simplified to suit their age.
They also visited Qatar Scientific Club and saw projects, including robotics, solar energy, 3D printing, laser cutting, gardening, programming and mechanics.
Reem Al Sowaidi, General Manager, Bedaya Centre, said: “One of Bedaya’s pillars is to build the entrepreneurial and creative mindset of children to guarantee their development to transform to intellectual ideas.”
