Minister of Energy and Industry
H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada
He was appointed Minister of Energy & Industry in a reshuffle of the Council of Ministers in January 2011. He was Minister of State for Energy and Industry Affairs from April 2007. He was Technical Director with Qatar Petroleum, where he managed massive oil & gas infrastructure projects. Holds a degree in Marine Science and Geology from Qatar University. He did his PhD from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK. The minister is also a member of Supreme Education Council (SEC) and the National Committee for Human Rights.
