Markus Zuck (pictured), young but well experienced chef, has taken charge of The Grill at Grand Hyatt Doha. Markus began cooking in his grandfather’s kitchen before deciding he was destined for a career as a professional chef. He took his first steps in that direction in 1998 when he went to work as commis at Da Gianni, the famous two Michelin-starred restaurant in Germany.
“My career started when I was 15 years old when I joined a private hospitality school and chose to major in the culinary arts,” he said. “The passion I saw in my grandfather’s eyes every time he prepared a meal for the family inspired me to choose to become a chef.”
The Grill’s new Chef de Cuisine, Chef Markus is a proven culinary leader with a resume that reads like a guide to some of the finest dining establishments abroad.
The Grill offers a new menu of refined seafood and poultry, tempting desserts and accommodates vegetarians and light eaters.
