There is talk of the announcement by the Supreme Education Council about all schools opening on September 10, and start of registration at home schools and evening schools.

Before the new academic year begins, many parents are demanding the SEC make school uniforms available in different shops to prevent schools from profiteering by selling them at high prices.

Some parents have demanded that the authorities monitor schools, some of which are demanding a bigger first instalment of the school fees.

People have praised the initiative by some ministries with offices in Al Dafna to provide free parking spaces to visitors, and demanded that other government and non-government bodies do the same.

Some people have suggested designating specific lanes on main roads for ambulances and civil defence vehicles, and conducting an awareness campaign among drivers on what to do during emergencies and how to give way to others.

The authorities have been urged to take action against those throwing waste on the roads.

There is talk about the new schools for parallel and home education for students who want to continue their elementary, preparatory and higher secondary education.

Many visitors to ministries located near City Center have complained about people parking their vehicles at the ministries’ parking lots and going shopping at the mall.
