Doha, Qatar: Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), through its National Programme for Conservation and Energy Efficiency (Tarsheed), organised the Tarsheed Summer Camp 2026 under the theme “Innovate and Conserve” at the Kahramaa Awareness Park from July 21 to 30.
The camp targeted children with a blend of educational and recreational programmes designed to combine learning with enjoyment. It featured innovative and interactive awareness activities that strengthened environmental responsibility among participants and encouraged innovation and creativity in sustainability and resource conservation.
Through hands-on experiences and practical activities, the camp reinforced core conservation concepts. These efforts support Kahramaa’s vision of nurturing a generation that is more aware and efficient in the use of natural resources.
The programmes were delivered in engaging formats suited to young participants, helping them understand the importance of rational electricity and water consumption while fostering a sense of environmental stewardship.
