DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 61.27 points, or 0.52 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 11,811.56 points Tuesday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR196.58m with a volume of 3,604,728 shares from 3,052 deals compared to QR239.55m with a volume of 4,712,107 shares from 4,061deals on Monday.
Real Estate index rose today, 0.62 percent to 2,681.48 points, reports QNA.
Banks and Financial Services sector index gained today, 0.07 percent to 3,116.03 points.
Consumer Goods and Services index added 0.73 percent to 7,191.8 points while Telecoms sector index dropped 0.63 percent to 1,093.66points.
QSE Total Return Index up to 0.52 percent to 18,359.37 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 0.45 percent to 4,575.55 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.52 percent to 11,811.56 points.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 40. From these 23 gained, 12 went down and five remained unchanged.
