Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced on Wednesday a decision to raise the QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) by 25 basis points to 5.50%.
In a statement on Wednesday, QCB also decided to raise the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) by 25 basis points to 6.00%. It also decided to raise the QCB Repurchase Rate (QCB Repo Rate) by 25 basis points to 5.75%.
QCB indicated that the decision will go into effect as of Thursday, May 4, 2023.
