Qatar adopts partnership programme with Nato

Doha: Qatari Ambassador to Belgium and Head of Qatari Mission to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato), presented to Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General, Nato, a document of individual partnership and cooperation programme between Qatar and Nato, approved by Qatar.
Addressing a meeting of the North Atlantic Council with Istanbul Cooperation Initiative Countries in Brussels, Sheikh Ali outlined Qatar’s positions and efforts to advance and strengthen cooperation between Istanbul Cooperation Initiative Countries and Nato and challenges facing the Arab Gulf region and the Middle East.
The meeting discussed issues related to regional security, terrorism, the upcoming Nato Summit in Warsaw and means of enhancing cooperation between both sides.
