Qatar Charity volunteers at a relief distribution centre in Aleppo.

DOHA: Qatar Charity (QC) was the first to reach the distressed Syrians in Aleppo, through its field office and offer them urgent aid.
It has called for donations to support the people in Aleppo through the hashtag #Relieve_Aleppo.
Youssef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO, QC, said the exacerbating situation in the city has made it necessary for QC to take action and urgently help Aleppo. “Our team reached the city and started distributing food to the distressed,” he said.
People can donate to #Relieve_Aleppo Campaign which offers medical services and food to the distressed Syrians. Donations can be sent to Al Rayyan Bank Account No. IBAN/QA40MAFR000000000003111111001, or through QC’s website qcharity.org, QC’s headquarters and branches in the country and the collection points in malls.
People can also send their donations for medical and health services (treatment for the injured) through #Relieve_Aleppo Campaign by sending ‘MS’ code in SMS to 23629 to donate QR50; 24629 to donate QR100; 82429 to donate QR500;  and 92429 to donate QR1,000. They can also donate food baskets at QR150 by sending SMS with ‘ES’ code to 25629. The campaign has a hotline for donations and is answering any related enquiries on 11776644. QC was the first to aid the Syrian people since it has a qualified and trained team with a specialised management for urgent response to disasters.
