DOHA: Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) marked World Day of Health & Safety at Workplace on April 28 under the theme ‘Workplace Stress: A Collective Challenge’.
A large number of officials and employees participated in activities and awareness lectures to disseminate the importance of implementing health and safety standards to ensure better health, safety and a clean environment for all employees, contractors and visitors.
The event also included medical camps to check blood glucose, blood pressure and basic dental care and provide advice and consultation on nutritions.
Lecturers on ‘Eye Health and Maintaining a Good Eye Sight’; ‘Managing Workplace Stress’’ and ‘Stress Management’ were also held.
