Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Almana Motors Company, dealer of Ford vehicles, has announced the recall of Ford f150 models of 2015 over a defect in the front seat belts.
The recall includes vehicles with chassis numbers: 1FTEW1EF0FFA46652; 1FTEW1EF2FFA46636; 1FTEW1EF2FFA46653;1FTEW1EF2FFA46667; 1FTEW1EF3FFA46659; 1FTEW1EF4FFA46637; 1FTEW1EF7FFA46664;1FTEW1EF4FFA46640; 1FTEW1EF4FFA46654; 1FTEW1EF5FFA46663; 1FTEW1EF6FFA46641; 1FTEW1EF6FFA46655;1FTEW1EF8FFA46639; 1FTEW1EF8FFA46656;1FTEW1EF9FFA46651; and 1FTEW1EF9FFA46665.
The ministry said the recall is part of its efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on maintenance and repairs and communicate with customers to ensure repairs are carried out.
