Doha: MES Indian School commemorated the Constitution Day of India on a virtual platform on November 26. The event was held to emphasize the adoption of the Constitution of India, which came into effect on January 26, 1950.

During the celebration, the preamble of the Indian constitution was read as students and teachers took a solemn oath to adhere to the principles of the Constitution of India.

Students spoke eloquently about the pivotal role played by Dr. B R Ambedkar in drafting the Indian Constitution and its significance.

As part of the programme, students sang patriotic songs, performed dance, and staged skits highlighting the freedom struggle and constitutional rights of the people of India.

A special quiz was also conducted based on the independent India for the students of Class VIII on the occasion.
