Drive in Doha, the first open air movie, sport and live events arena in Qatar, will host a live concert by famous British ‘Acid Jazz’ band Incognito on Tuesday at the Aspire Park.
Founded by Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick in 1979, Incognito has been serenading fans worldwide for almost four decades with its undiluted Jazz-Funk roots. The band first took over the UK Singles Charts in the early 90s with their breakthrough hit singles such as “Always There” and “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing”.
The band is set to take Doha residents by storm with an evening of uplifting music and irresistible grooves. The live concert marks the band’s first performance in the Middle East, following a string of successful concerts across Europe, Asia and the South America.
Building on the excitement, Drive In Doha is offering music enthusiasts a chance to win free tickets to this power-packed concert. Residents are encouraged to tune into 97.5FM and take part in the on-going competition.
