Eid Charity to build 335 mosques across world

DOHA: Sheikh Eid Charitable Foundation (Eid Charity) has announced that it has obtained contracts to build 335 mosques in several countries around the world.

The deals are part of construction projects of Eid Charity that will cost it about QR21m.
Eid Charity said in its half-yearly report that 17 countries will benefit from the projects which will be financed by Qataris.
Some of these mosques have been built and some are expected to be completed this year, according to the report for January-June this year.
The report said Qatar Charity’s plans include building 600 mosques across the world.
It said the mosques would include facilities such as water tanks, ablution places, furnishing with carpets, lightening and speakerphones.
Eid Charity praised the Qatari donors who are doing their best to support and fund charitable projects for millions of Muslims around the world.
