DOHA: The Health Monitoring Section at Al Daayen Municipality shut down five food outlets, registered 111 violations and collected QR209.400 in fines in the first half of this year. Inspectors conducted 11,652 visits to food outlets, vegetables and fruits market, laundries, and men and women salons to ensure that the outlets meet Qatar’s health specifications. The municipality also held six awareness campaigns and received and followed up on some 14 complaints.
